Santorum Tries to "Define" Himself

After his loss in the Michigan primary, Rich Santorum's campaign talked about the need to define the candidate. Here's what someone from the campaign said:

“There’s a lot that’s written about Rick that he feels is not really who he is,” said John Brabender, a top adviser. “Instead of letting perceptions become the reality based upon what we would consider images that are pushed by his opponents or segments of the news media that might be less favorable, he wants to provide a fuller picture of the reality.”

Images pushed by his opponents! You have got to be kidding me. Let’s see it was Santorum that said the Kennedy speech made him want to throw up. It was Santorum that said contraception was essentially wrong and could lead to bad things. It was Santorum who questioned women’s motivations for working not that a family needed the money but that it was somehow a lark. It was Santorum that stated the reason Obama wanted kids to go to college was so they could be indoctrinated as liberals.

I'm so sorry to say that the perception is the reality. Rick Santorum is far far right idealogue and no amount of providing a fuller picture of reality is going to change that.
