Nationals 4-2 Over the Phillies
Great to go and see 2012 NL East Division champions play a baseball game. Since they'd won the division, not all the first line players were on the field last night. But Bryce Harper was and he showed once again, as my friend says, how freakin' assume he is.
It was the first time I've gone to a game where it's been foggy. Toward the end of the game it got really foggy.
Another milestone Adam LaRoche homered in the 6th inning to earn his 100th RBI for the season. Only the third National's player to do so.
Finally through Facebook, we found out a friend from college was at the game too. Only a couple of sections away. I looked over and was pretty sure I spotted them. Turns out I was right since we were able to meet up with them as they were leaving. They said it was only like the second game they'd been to all year.
And that was the end of a wonderful Tuesday night at National's Park home to the 2012 NL East Division champions.
