April Fools' Day a week late
Sunday was April Fools' Day but it seems it didn't happen until last night. DC has had a cold snap and last night we got snow. Snow in April. Yes that is indeed an April Fool.

We're in the middle of a 3-night plunge into the teens and low 20s (the third night is just a forecast, of course). I let the tulips die, but I mulched the grapes. There does actually seem to be hope for three of the plants, which I left for dead last fall. And I will be planting new cuttings in the empty slots soon. Weeeeel see. - Ed
