2Political Episode 72

2PP072 - 2 July 2012

2Political Podcast Episode 72 is now available. You can listen to it or download it from the podcast site, 2political.com. You can leave comments there as well as download or listen to any episode (you can access the five most recent episodes from the list on the right side of my blog).

This episode only took Arthur around five days to edit. Hey, we'll take improvement where we find it! The sound is a little different because we used the Skype recording. Arthur will explain that more in the next episode.

To begin, Jason talks a bit about the storms that recently hit the East Coast of the US, including Washington, DC. That leads to a short discussion of emergency preparedness. Then Jason has an actual special day—well, two, actually. Arthur has a special day, too.

When we turn to politics, we start with the Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act. We agree that Republicans are being dishonest when they say “repeal and replace” because they have no intention of replacing it. Their underlying ideas are inherently flawed, too. Then, we take on the Arizona ruling. Finally, it’s Republicans grandstanding political games on the Holder contempt motion.

Please leave a comment (anyone's welcome—agree or disagree!), or you can ring the 2Political Comment line on 206-350-3982.
