I've fallen behind again. I wanted to leave the post about the 50th anniversary of the Peanuts special for a couple of days. Then the horrible events happened in California. I also got an unpleasant blast from the past which I've been dealing with over the past couple of days. It involves the U.S. Department of Justice. More on that later.
I did go to the Newseum this weekend to hear a panel discussion on sports journalism.
