Singing the Sixities — NoVA Lights Chorale

A great concert from the NoVA Lights Chorale this afternoon. Singing the Sixties. My friend Mark is part of the group.

Instead of coming in as a group, they came in down the isles handing out peace buttons attired appropriately for the 60's. It was great fun. There was even some dancing.

Some of the songs covered Groovin' on a Sunday Afternoon (the song they came in on) Monday, Monday, It's My Party, Stop in the Name of Love and they ended with Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In.

There was also a silent auction with old 45s up for sale.

Just a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Couldn't resist this. I won the bid on this one.

Some of the 45s in the silent auction.
