Contemplative Court at the National Museum of African American History and Culture
I wanted to add one more set of pictures from the National Museum of African American History and Culture. This is from the Contemplative Court. It is a room on the first floor of the museum with a wonderful waterfall and famous quotes from people.
It is a quiet place to think about all that you have seen at the museum.

Linus is Six Today
Today Linus turns six. Of course it is just like any other day to Linus. He is napping. Playing some. Napping some more. Helping me clean the bathroom. Taking a nap on top of the wardrobe. Just being a cat. And I am very glad Linus is my cat.

MGM Casino at National Harbor
I went to the new MGM Casino at National Harbor a couple weeks back. I went on the Sunday that time changed. I thought it would be a fun thing to do in the morning. Also with the change in time it wouldn't be all that crowded. That turned out to be the case but there were still people up playing the slots, black jack, poker even high stakes poker.
