National Museum of African American History and Culture — Civil Rights Era
More pictures from the National Museum of African American History and Culture. These deal with the Civil Rights Era. It shows the discrimination that African American faced. That the KKK was never far away. But in the end events happened that brought change.
It's hard to believe this country was ever like it. But on the other hand you see what's going on today the vandalizing of Jewish cemeteries and the treats against Jewish institutions. The violence against people of color the shooting in Kansas comes to mind. We've come a long way but it seems still have a long way to go.
