At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 Germany signed an armistice ending World War I. Thus Veterans Day was born.
So on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 2007 it is fitting to honor these men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
They are all heroes.
They are Those We’ve Lost.
