Chess at Signature Theater
I saw Chess at the Signature Theater on Friday night. The last big event for my vacation. It was very good. It's interesting how they rearranged elements of the show and the order of the songs. Yet they still were able to create a great show. Here's a review from the Post.
The first time I saw the show was way back on my first London trip, March 3, 1987. I saw it twice on that trip that's how much I enjoyed it. Elaine Paige was Florence in the production. Her voice was incredible. I also saw a version put on by Marriott's Lincolnshire Resort sometime in 1990. This version followed very closely to the one I saw on Friday.
It was a very enjoyable night.
