Getting Ahead of the Game

I did some shopping for stocking stuffers when I was in Springfield. My dad and I went to a dollar store. I found some thing including silly sting which was a big hit. I noticed while I was shopping that this particular dollar store already had out its Valentine’s Day cards and candy. Talk about getting ahead of things.

That’s seven weeks before Valentine’s Day.

I have an even better example. I was shopping at the Giant on Sunday. They too had out Valentine’s Day candy and cards. But they also had out Cadbury eggs. As in the Cadbury eggs that you buy for Easter. Easter isn’t until April 24 this year. It means the eggs are out almost 5 months before Easter.

That’s getting waaaay ahead of the game.
