honor of mother's day I made pancakes.
Ok truth be told I would have made pancakes no matter what. But it certainly is a good excuse to make them.
I remember growing up that I tried to make mothers' day as special as possible for my mom. But then again what kid wouldn't want to do that.
As I got older my mom didn't care all that much about presents, she just wanted to see me. Or if that could not be arranged get a call. I always tried to send flowers. Sometimes I would find something that was unique to DC and send that to her.
So here's to pancakes on Mothers' Day. And here's to you mom.
