We're just over sensitive

Here's a rather interesting story that appeared in USA Today on Friday. Here's a more detailed account from Reuters.

It seems the US is simply "over-sensitivity" to the unending line of products from China with problems (pet food, tooth paste, shrimp, toys, tires etc.):

"I must remind some friends that we are certainly extremely sensitive towards this problem, but over-sensitivity caused by only seeing part of the picture, in medical terms, is called an allergy," Health Minister Chen Zhu said.
Well Mr. Minister what I would worry about is a permanent American allergic reaction to anything made in China. I think in economic terms that's called a boycott.
