The Blossoms and the Jefferson Memorial
I got a little artsy with these pictures. They are all taken with my new camera which I got last week.
It really did a great job in getting, if I do say so myself, some really good shots.
Cherry Blossoms Round 2
This past Friday I went down to the the Tidal Basin again. This time the blooms were at full bloom power.
Here's a whole bunch of posts of the cherry blossoms because you can never have too many pictures of cherry blossoms.
Over the years I've found it interesting how some blossoms are on the trunk of the trees. It is a really neat contrast and the few blossoms really pop out at you.

A Look at the Washington Monument
I think the two things I've taken the most pictures of are the Washington Monument and the cherry blossoms. And they are fantastic together.
More Blossoms
No matter how many times I see the blossoms, they never fail to impress. They are just so amazing. It was fun to go down and see them just starting to open. There were more white blossoms out than pink ones. The pin ones are coming later this week.
