The Simpson launched a new opening credits sequence a few weeks ago. It was supposed to coincide with the switch to digital. Well that of course has been postponed. But the new intro is noting short of brilliant. It shows just how great the Simpsons is. Enjoy.

The first place I saw this someone had to comment that at the start they're sawing the head off of the statue then when the family chases the sofa, the head is back. Sheesh! Like continuity matters in a cartoon!
Yes, I thought of that too and my reaction was the same as yours. It is a cartoon. It also show just how funny the Simpson is and always will be.
